A NEW STORY, A BALANCE BETWEEN HERITAGE, AUTHENTICITY, MODERN & CONTEMPORARY APPROACH.

The story of Seafarer began back in 1896 when Tony Anzalone, an Italian immigrant and former U.S. Navy sailor known as Seagoing Tony, opened a small tailor shop near the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He started collaborating with the U.S. Navy, eventually designing the original model that would be adopted as the official uniform for over 100 years. This denim design became known as bell-bottom pants: originally created for military purposes, over more than a century, they transformed into a symbol of peace, playing a key role in the protests of 1968. By the 1970s, they had become a cult fashion item, embraced by style icons of the time, including Jane Birkin, Brigitte Bardot, and Farrah Fawcett.
